The Southside Woodshop makes custom interior and exterior doors for all types of homes. We incorporate traditional door building techniques with modern machining to produces doors that will last for lifetimes. Our construction process for rail and stile parts features edge grain door cores sandwiched between 1/8" to ¼" thick door skins. This allows for any wood species to be used as the skins and produces doors that are less susceptible to seasonal wood movement (and less prone to sticking vs. other types of door construction). Our doors are 100% solid wood and can be built as slabs (door only) or pre-hung units.
